As we near the end of 2025, we can't help but look back and smile at what has truly been our most incredible year yet at Tycoons Allstars! From undefeated teams to international victories, from milestone achievements to unforgettable memories, this year has exceeded every expectation we had when we started this journey.

This season, several of our all-star competitions teams went completely undefeated: a feat that still gives us goosebumps thinking about it! Watching our athletes step onto the competition floor with such confidence and skill, knowing they had the training and teamwork to dominate every routine, has been absolutely phenomenal.

Our undefeated streak wasn't just about winning trophies (though we certainly collected plenty of those!). It was about seeing our cheerleading Tameside athletes push their boundaries, support each other through every tumbling pass and stunt sequence, and prove that dedication and hard work truly pay off. The pride in their faces after each flawless performance reminded us why we do what we do.

Perhaps the most unforgettable highlight of 2025 was our incredible journey to America for competition! Taking 55 local children across the Atlantic to compete on an international stage was a dream we never thought would become reality so quickly.

The logistics alone were mind-boggling: coordinating travel for 55 athletes, ensuring everyone had their uniforms, shoes, hair accessories, and competition gear perfectly organized. But seeing the excitement in our athletes' eyes as they stepped off the plane in America made every planning session, every fundraising effort, and every late-night organizational call completely worth it.

The competition itself was absolutely electric. Our teams didn't just participate: they dominated! Bringing home 6 first place victories and a Grand Champion title from an international competition was beyond our wildest expectations. But more than the trophies and medals, it was watching our local children from Tameside and Greater Manchester compete alongside teams from around the world that truly made this experience magical.

The memories created during that trip will last a lifetime. From team dinners where everyone shared their excitement about competing internationally, to the tears of joy after each winning performance, to the group photos with all our hardware: every moment reinforced why inclusive cheerleading UK programs like ours matter so much.

Growing Our Tycoons Family to Over 160 Members

Another incredible milestone this year was reaching over 160 members in our Tycoons family! When we started this journey, we dreamed of creating a welcoming space for local children to discover their passion for cheerleading and dance. Seeing our membership grow to this size while maintaining our close-knit, supportive community feel has been remarkable.

Our growth represents more than just numbers: it shows that families in our area are recognizing the value of what we offer. From absolute beginner cheerleading teams for those just starting their journey, to advanced competitive squads pushing for national recognition, we've created pathways for every child to find their place and thrive.

What makes us most proud is that this growth hasn't changed who we are at our core. Whether we have 16 members or 160, every single athlete gets the attention, support, and encouragement they deserve. Our coaches know every child's name, celebrate their individual victories, and help them work through challenges with patience and expertise.

But perhaps even more exciting is what lies ahead for our newer programs. Our Prep Cheer, Jazz, and Prep Hip Hop teams are preparing for their very first competition season! Their enthusiasm is infectious, and we can't wait to see them shine on the competition floor.

Many of these young athletes will eventually progress through our program, potentially becoming the undefeated champions and international competitors of tomorrow.
